Gain firsthand experience as a model that will give you the edge and confidence to succeed in the highly competitive fashion industry. Winners will receive cash awards and the chance be selected to perform in the final night showcase fashion shows produced by Suzanne Von Schaack. Models are evaluated in the following categories:

1. Runway
2. Print
3. Swimwear
Models can also be seen in Commercial Print and Beauty Television Commercials.

Guidelines:

1. You must radiate confidence! When you go on an interview before famous designer's show and she/he asks you to walk, you walk through as if it's the real show: lights, music, audience! Wear black and white, simple clothing and don't go crazy with your hair and make up.

2. For the swimsuit competition, choose a piece that flatters your figure. It can be a bikini or one piece for girls, trunks for the boys. Make sure you look good in your outfit, and watch the tan lines!
3. Keep in mind that you should submit only your best photos. Make sure the photos are done by professionals, show your true qualities - your size, type, age - and make you look your best.

iPOP! winning models have gone on to have success in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, London and Tokyo.

LA09 & LV09 Model Showcase Producer
Suzanne Von Schaack
As a working model, actress, teacher, and spokeswoman, Suzanne Von Schaack’s impressive career has spanned throughout all facets of the fashion world.
Suzanne's prestigious modeling career began at a John Robert Powers School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. After her training, Suzanne moved to New York where she attended modeling conventions and studied acting.
Suzanne quickly found herself being represented by world renowned modeling agencies throughout Paris, Milan, New York, and California. She has graced the pages of various magazines such as “Vogue,” “Harper’s Bazaar”, “L’Official Paris,” and “Camera 35.” Not limiting herself to only magazine ads and fashion print, Suzanne has also represented high end department stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Nordstorms, I. Magnin, Bullocks, Broadway, and Macys in many fashion spreads. Suzanne has worked the runways of top designers Mary MCFaden, Bob Mackie, Bill Blass, Nolan Miller, Pierre Cardin, David Hayes, Versace, Pauline Triquire, Givenchy, and Chanel.
After conquering the New York fashion world, Suzanne decided to relocate to Los Angeles and pursue acting. She studied at Playhouse West with Jeff Goldblum and found herself in various television and film projects. She made a guest appearance on the popular 80’s series “Scarecrow and Mrs. King” as well as soap opera classics “Dynasty”, “Dallas”, and “The Young and the Restless”. Recently she has appeared as an etiquette instructor on the reality shows “Blind Date” and “Extreme Dating.”
Suzanne can be seen in the feature films “Tootsie” starring Dustin Hoffman, “Whatever it Takes”, “Fashionably LA”, and “Down N’ Dirty”, and Woody Allen’s “Zelig”. In December, she will be filming “Soft Target” directed by Art Comacho, starring Gary Busey and Don ‘The Dragon’ Wilson.
After 30 plus years in the business, Suzanne found herself sharing her knowledge and insight of the fashion industry by teaching students the tricks of the trade for becoming a professional model. For the past seven years, Suzanne has guest lectured at all of the southern California John Robert Powers Schools as an instructor in courses such as Image, Fashion and Commercial Print, Runway Modeling, and Communication.
Suzanne has worked with LA’s Best Enrichment and After School Program, serving as a choreographer for fashion shows as well as coordinating a show for EBAY during L.A.’s fashion week. In addition to her runway work, Suzanne has added pageant training to her already full plate of skills. Suzanne coached the recent winner of the Miss California pageant and is now training her for the national competition. She has also coached her daughter, Danielle, to win the Miss Hawaiian Tropics regional division. Suzanne is proud to acknowledge that many of her students have been represented by top agencies in Los Angeles and have gone on to have wonderful careers.
Suzanne believes the formula for success is when preparation meets opportunity. She emphasizes on the total package of a person as a selling point for agents and casting directors. Look, style, personality, attitude, make-up, clothes, nails, hair, confidence, and body all come into play when competing as a professional. Suzanne offers workshops in how to move and walk on the runway, dress, and promoting and packaging. As a passionate teacher, Suzanne gives her students the confidence to allow their unique qualities to shine through.
Suzanne is represented by Cunningham Escott Dipene. She lives in Los Angeles with her daughter, Danielle.

IPOP VEGAS 2009 was amazing. I was so proud of my 11 year old daughter who stood strong throughout the week. Watching her in the showcase was breathtaking. IPOP has brought her confidence up so high. I don’t believe anyone would regret being a part of IPOP. It was the best experience that my child could ever have in improving all her talents. I cannot explain enough in words the excitement of IPOP……………It’s outstanding what this does to a child or adult who loves to perform.

The first thing I would like to say is thank you. Thank you, for the incredible experience you gave me, as well as everybody else. IPOP truly impacted my life in such positive way. When you got up on stage and started to speak of your early life experiences, and showed everyone that clip of " giving your absolute best," it touched my heart in a way I can not explain. When I got home it was one of the first things I shared with my family. You are an inspiration and a great motivator to all.
One of last weeks most memorable moments was when Johnny (the owner of JRP Long Island), called to let me know that you had selected me to be highlighted on the runway. I felt so special to be part of such a beautiful group of girls and guys.

It was great to break through a shell I had with talking to random people, but the experience made me more confident as a person and more importantly as a model. The amazing part was getting the awards from famous people. It was nice to see friends and family get awards and see them progress from a training model, actress, singer and dancer …to a star.
