Aspiring actors show their skills in the following categories:
| 1. | Scene |
| 2. | TV Commercial |
| 3. | Monologue |
Guidelines:
| 1. | Actors will be given commercial copy in advance in order to prepare for the event. Scenes will also be provided and are to be performed with another member of your group. Make choices and bring the "magic" of yourself to the commercial and scene catagories. |
| 2. | Always have several contrasting monologues prepared for an audition. Keep in mind that choice of material should be age and character appropriate. |
| 3. | Remember that the headshot is your first impression in the acting business! It must reflect your personality and engage the viewer. The first thing a casting director sees when she/he looks at the headshot is not the photographer's style, or busy background. It's YOU! |

I want to take the time to express to you personally my heartfelt thanks for providing Emily an adventure of a lifetime! The Las Vegas IPOP! was an amazing learning experience for her. The opportunities to perform, compete and work with people in the industry was undoubtedly life-defining for her. She competed in acting and dancing, and came away with Honorable Mentions in her monologue and tv commercial. Being able to dance in the Showcase with Jeri Slaughter and company has given her many bragging rights down here in Texas!

iPOP! taught me how to represent myself and promote myself, as well as how auditions go and what it is really like to audition under pressure in front of 50 to 2,000 people. I don’t get nervous on stage as easily, and I can talk to agents without having to worry about being annoying
J. R Wolnik (iPOP! Performer)
It was definitely a competition, but my goal wasn’t to be better than my friends, it was to be the best that I could possibly push myself to be.
